Overbite

Upper teeth protrude over the lower teeth by a proportion of between 30-50%

Crowding

The lack of space for all the teeth to fit normally within the jaws. The teeth may be twisted or displaced.

Spacing / Diastema

A dental anomaly characterised by interdental spaces and lack of contact points between teeth.

Rotations

A condition where one or more teeth are not aligned properly in relation to the adjacent and opposing teeth.

Crossbite

A malocclusion where a tooth (or teeth) are inset behind the inside of a corresponding tooth.

Openbite

Refers to the horizontal distance between the upper front teeth and lower front teeth.
